Where to go for sunset cocktails in Mui Ne?

Posted on April 01, 2026

On this blog, I share a collection of honest reviews—free from embellishment or distraction. From heritage hotels to local cafés, every entry is filtered through my own lens and personal aesthetic. These are not universal guides, but a reflection of my individual taste and first-hand experiences. My goal is to help you make more considered choices by sharing a perspective that values substance and values the reality of the moment.

Mui Ne is a relatively small destination, so I did not expect to find many proper spots for cocktails by the beach. Still, while planning my trip, I had this simple idea in mind—sitting by the sea with a drink in hand, watching the sunset. It felt like something that should be easy to find, yet it turned out to be more complicated than expected.

To my surprise, quite a few places I came across online had permanently closed. I am not entirely sure why, but it definitely limited the options. Some of the remaining spots I saw seemed to offer shisha, which is not really my thing, so I decided to skip those. With the roads and sidewalks currently being renovated, I do hope this will encourage more businesses to reopen and attract more visitors back to the area.

Eventually, I found a place that matched everything I was hoping for and more. Not only did it have the right setting for sunset drinks, but it even featured a DJ, something I did not expect to find in Mui Ne at all. The venue is quite spacious, and the music is well-balanced so you can still enjoy a relaxed and cosy atmosphere while watching the sun go down.

The food and cocktails were genuinely good, and what I ordered was their “sunset combo 1,” which worked perfectly for the moment. Another plus is that the place opens early, from 9 am until 11 pm, making it just as suitable for a beachside brunch as it is for evening drinks. It is the kind of spot that quietly exceeds expectations in a destination where you do not expect to find much of this scene.

One small thing to note: I was not aware at first that you need to order at the counter, so I ended up waiting a bit for a waiter to take my order.
